Every year crypto gives opportunities to make money, at the same time, many make mistakes and lose. Newbies have the advantage of the errors of long-time crypto players, which can be avoided.

We will talk about them today 👇

🔻 2017: Don't lock in profits.

After 800x on altcoin, I didn't lock in a profit. Why. I wanted to get 1000x and everyone around me said this token would make at least another x2 100%.

🔻 2018: Not getting rid of dead coins.

When you're stuck in tokens and you're in severe drawdown, you start praying and believing that things will grow back. But, that doesn't happen with 98% of altcoins. Sometimes it's better to lock in a 50% loss and turn your attention to more promising coins.

🔻 2019: Listening to the crowd too much.

When BTC was trading around 6k for a long time in 2019, everyone said it was peaking and only going to the bottom next. I sold bitcoins at $6k and ended up buying back twice as much.

🔻 2019: Loss of interest in the crypto market

In 2019, when everyone was in a 97% portfolio drawdown, many left the market. But that was when there were the best opportunities to enter the market: low prices, weak competition, huge potential for growth, no one PRs the topic of making money in tiktok...

🔻 2020: Laziness.

Laziness has destroyed the potential of many cryptos. During the crypto winter, you can reduce market activity but make up for it by learning new ideas, trends, and skills.

And as soon as the market starts to move, you need to turn on full force. Especially if the market is filled with free money, like in 2022.

🔻 2021: The Binary Approach to Investing

You don't want to be 0/100% in the market. Always choose a middle ground so you can both keep your assets and not be late to the trend. Investing even 1% of your portfolio in an asset can double your portfolio

🔻 2022: Investing with a poor risk/return ratio

Stablecoin UST offered a 19% return per year. The FTX exchange was paying 8% a year in dollars. It ended up bankrupting both companies.

Why risk 100% of your money with the expectation of earning only 6-20%? Look for opportunities with the prospect of earning 400% and the risk of losing only 100%.
